Welcome to Chapel by the Lake and thank you for visiting our website. I invite you to explore the various ministries and activities highlighted here. Our website is a dynamic and evolving place, so the next time you visit it you will likely find new material and information. We appreciate your interest in the Chapel and pray that you will know more fully the love of Jesus Christ as you surf this site and when you visit our church, which we hope will be very soon. Our mission is to know Jesus and make Him known. Please contact us if we can help you in anyway.

Love Inc. – Drivers Needed

The food pantry ministry is in need of volunteer drivers to make deliveries during the week. We recently lost 4 volunteers, so any help that you can offer would be very appreciated. Need Help Hearing the Service?

Assistive listening devices are available for use during the service. They are located in the basket on the bookshelf near the ushers. Just place the earpiece over your ear and turn the dial at the top. You may find that you need to take out your hearing aid. Please clean the earpiece before and after using. If you need further help, an usher or the sound technician should be able to assist you. We welcome your feedback on the new system; contact Sara Chambers directly, 789-0841 or via the church office, 789-7592.

Get Ready To Renew!

Renewal Weekend is coming up fast, and we want to be ready. Here’s one way the Renewal Committee can help: Every couple of weeks, sample works of our guest speaker, Marva Dawn, will be available in the Narthex for you to take home. This week is Marva’s article, WHOM DO YOU SERVE? A biblical framework for understanding money’s grip on us – and how to break free. Interesting, challenging and hope-filled! See Marva in person at Renewal by the Lake, March 5, 6, and 7.
